sometimes the person has disabled picture downloading, so you can either refresh to a new image, or take a screencap or, something like that.

I don't think I'm very good at this but hot damn is it fun! I like the Nova Scotia one the best.







I cheated on that last one. I really wanted a band name with parentheses in it so I had to go through a couple dozen random pages.

I tried clicking all of Lewis's links earlier today just to see how it would turn out, but then I closed them because I didn't have time to make a cover. But I remember thinking that the selections were awesome and hoping that it would work out that well again.

It hasn't, unfortunately, even with various forms of cheating. And I can't remember anything about the original except that the picture was in sepia and had an oak tree or something as its focus.

The Dolibarr one seems pretty legitimate (if a bit dramatic) to me, but maybe that's just because I'm not familiar with the real Dolibarr.

Cambdoranononwhatever, those are both pretty awesome, although the Dolibarr one's album title is somewhat difficult to read.

You know, I think that would all work together really nicely. So why isn't the dang image working? Oh well, I guess you'll all just have to imagine the awesomeness for yourselves.

It's amazing how well these randomized things seem to fit together.

I wish I could have included the Hebrew symbols for the band name, as seen on the Wiki page.

I cannot seem to get the GIMP download to work. If it worked I would probably make a much cooler album cover.

GIMP is pretty from space, but it takes a lot of RAM and it's hard to learn.

Obviously I could have done it in Paint just as well, but whatever.

The RAM, fortunately, is not much of an issue for me.

Also--"No Cure for Curiosity" by Belfast Riot is too good of a combination to pass up, but the pic I got was terrible, and I'm not going to do any more photo-editing anyway. If anyone wants to make a suitable cover for this album, go ahead.

The picture and the quote go very well together for the first one, and I like how you arranged the last one. However you don't seem to have gotten very lucky with the randomizer because most of those combinations aren't all that great.

Lewis, I was really hoping the Jerry Cain the wikipedia article you got the name from was the Stanford CS lecturer (probably my favorite lecturer ever and my unofficial advisor), but it appears to be someone else entirely. My Jerry Cain sounds much cooler, though. Also, his user name for Stanford is poohbear. Which is awesome.

Spider, I really like that last one.

I'm not happy with the font colours on this one, but I couldn't be bothered to mess around looking for better ones.

Spider, you're like a god at this. You should be a graphic designer.

Actually, I think Lewis's "Enjoy Being a Woman" and Cam-etc's "In Its Own Way" are my two favorites, graphic design-wise.

I'm a second rate graphics designer, and my results are very hit and miss...

I quite competent at the actually computer side of things, but I lack somewhat in the creativity front.
