It is creepy, but that's why it's soooooo funny. The previous comic was even funnier. Just totally lambasts your thought of at first you're like "awww he's honoring a valentine's request" but then it sinks in the terrible terrible nature of this and then you stop and.... "Well damn."

The main thing that hit me was that it was exactly late enough to be entirely too late for Valentine's day, despite the fact that he had almost a year to prepare for it. Speaking of: it is very, very late, and very much past the deadline for a Thursday comic, and none is up.

Hey, the Valentine's Day comic was on time! Might have been after the holiday ended in your time zone, but I choose to believe that anonymous requester lives on the West Coast, or maybe a Pacific island.

Ben, I have news for you that may be useful if you ever decide to pursue any romantic endeavors in your life: a Valentine delivered at midnight on Valentine's day is late. Period. Actually, in most cases, a valentine delivered after, say, 8:30 is late.

although, presumably he got one delivered already at 8:30 in the morning, and this one at 8:30 pm just kept the spirit alive, you could say.
