Tonight I will go home and dig out my graphics tablet, then you can all experience first hand just how terrible my drawing is!

Also, when exactly were you planning on PMing us chenjesu?

Who do we send the finished avatars to?

(Just because I've done it already doesn't mean it's rubbish! I just have a lot of time on my hands. So it's rubbish for a whole host of other reasons.)

You send them directly to the person. You can do this any time before July 10.

A reminder: the maximum dimensions for an avatar are 150 by 450. But if that's an obstacle for this, let me know and I'll change it.

That's width x height, right?

I am moving house on Saturday. I will try to finish the avatar before then, but if I don't manage to then I certainly won't be able to hit the deadline of the 10th (not least because I'm going on holiday for a week on Monday).

My apologies.

Have you checked your PMs?

Yes indeed!

Is there going to be some arbitrary day on which we all change our avatars to the ones given to us, or should people just go ahead and change as soon as they have their new one?

I vote you should all swap your new avatars in in ONE WEEK.

Technically, you're supposed to only show your avatar after July 10, but I don't care.

I just got back from a vacation-type thing during which I had no phone or internet access, so I haven't actually started my avatar yet. I'll try to hurry though.

I'm on holiday (in Leicester, which is also in Europe and in Britain), but I still have internet access. Hah.

Also, I have just noticed that my avatar, 'avatar pending', is now actually true, because I do have an avatar pending, rather than just being the result of me being too lazy to make a proper one.

What's the best way to send the avatars? There's no way that I can find to attach files to PM's, so do I have to post it somewhere online and then use the "Img" tool, or what?

That's what I did. Then whoever gets it can download it and put it somewhere for them to use it on their own terms. Or at least that's the plan.

Should I? Should I really?

Also, I'm leaving tomorrow, and I'm only 15. So it's looking unlikely.

Hopefully TaBB doesn't mind that you do it here:

Well, next time you're on holiday in Leicester you should come visit me, it will make me smile. You couldn't have last week though because I was on holiday in Brighton at the time.

I am home now, but the internet isn't connected in my new house yet so I'm not sure how soon I'll be able to create the exciting avatar. It should be pretty soon though, maybe even tonight if I'm feeling unlazy.

Out of curiosity, is everyone using their new avatars?

Yeah, I know everyone isn't technically plural. Too bad, English language!

I am mildly annoyed with my new ISP, for they have yet to actually set up the internet in my home. I cannot therefore provide my selected forumite with their new avatar, which is rather sad. Consequently, I feel it would be poor form for me to wear my own new avatar until this situation is rectified.

My sincerest apologies for the delay,
Spider

That is sad. I am also in Leicester, again, but not for long enough to go anywhere. (Apart from swimming, that was pretty cool.)

Is there anyone who doesn't have a good reason for withholding their avatar? I think Lewis is the only one showing his.

I know Batman, the Caped Crusader and William are showing theirs, and I think Unwinder is showing his too

Hmm. I thought I noticed Batman, the Caped Crusader's was different, but I decided I would have noticed if it had changed because of the avatar exchange. Shows what I know.
