I'll start. I do a little comic called Terror Island, with Factitious.

Feel free to post in this thread with your webcomic

Oooh, this "Terror Island"-thing looks interesting. How come you haven't mentioned it before?

As for mine:
Loki's Escapades

It is, however, in Norwegian, and seeing as the "drawings" are crap incarnated, the lack of understandability thus renders my link totally useless for most of those who would read this post.

If for some strange reason people are interested in reading it, though, I'll set aside a Sunday afternoon sometime to commence translations.

Wow, that's amazing. And here I've been typing URLs for weeks.

Ah, a link which is honest in its uselessness! :D I salute you.

I hate to ruin it for you, but it points to a preview page now.

Also, it's an outright lie. Unless you consider "soon" to include the heat death of the universe.

- - - -

Do you like the background color? I was thinking maybe a smidge bluer. What do you think of this as an alternative?

Is "Tyngdekraften" gravity? because if I had to guess, that would be what I would think it is. If so, I like that one. If not, I may still like it, I just don't know what it would be.

ooh, maybe I'll 'Fan-sub' your comic, with no regard for what it means, and just try and guess based on how many words and stuff.

See Obdormio's telling and overly wordy reply.

Also, hooray, you liked it!

That should go okay for most early strips, but then I start with dialogue and stuff...

Edit: Okay, because I'm such a man-whore for praise, here's my strip number two, translated and stuff:

I had to quote that because it was the funniest thing I'd read in months. Scissors beat paper. Muy funny.

It was several hours later before I realized that there was actually a second joke lurking in the shadows, because FOMS was a webcomic about rocks.

Retroactively, it became the funniest thing I've read in years.

Check out http://www.gadoosh.com. I think you'll especially like the Holy Ess archives page. The site is in the midst of being redesigned but soon I will be back to updating it every day.

Nice to meet you, guy. While its not required, it is considered courteous to post around the forum a bit before shilling for your webcomic.

Thank you. Nice to meet you, too! I'm new to this sort of stuff, so I appreciate you introducing me to some web forum etiquette.

I have read some of your Time pieces and thoroughly enjoy your word games. I took some pretty bad @ss metaphysics courses in college (taught by a student of David Lewis) and love to wrap my brain around the contradictory-still-logical nature of time and possibility vs. probability.

I'm sorry I haven't posted anything but just started viewing TimeFan yesterday during a busy day at work.

I got word via xkcd's website forum and enjoy the terror island web comic as well. I look forward to being a contributing member of your forum community.

Awesome. Which student of David Lewis taught your course? And where did you take it?

He was an Aussie named Simon but I have forgotten his last name. Really nice guy.

Took the class at Boston University as an undergrad...one of the only classes where people walked out more confused than when they entered.

I agree. I imagine a lot of upper level science and mathematics classes are like that. Quantum physics, nano robots, AI theories...

Hi everyone. I'm new to this whole thing and I don't know what proper etiquette is when it comes to these boards. Anyway, if anyone's interested, here's a link to my brand new web comic Cicada Lane! http://www.rustbeltdreams.typepad.com/cicadalane

Let me know what you think.

posting that link in this thread instead of somewhere else is about all there is to the ettiquette side of things.

Also posting things other than that link in other threads, i guess is part of it.

Welcome to here, is what I am saying.

My new webcomic although the 'pilot' strip(the only one I have so far) is online in quite a few places.

I think I've linked this before, somewhere in this forum, but I should put it in the "official" spot:

Image

It's a webcomic that covers family life, office life, gaming life, superhero life, school life, and there's a mean old guy who lives next door. What more could you want? Oh, it's also the internet's first webcomic created by a mother-father-daughter team.
