Title text: Sorry everyone!

I can safely say that I didn't see that coming. Is this a fake-out or have you reached the end of the logical necessity and we're now on the equivalent of a QED, or a little box, or apparently some math book uses a smiley face*.

*According to my current math teacher, UNC used to use this book, but several of the professors got mad because of the use of a smiley face, and so they switched books.

EDIT: The page says 351 but it's actually 352.

I'm hoping it's the one with the office supplies.

Also, guys, what are you going to do with the Terror Island part of the forum? Are you just going to leave it there?

Sigh...

I suppose it is wiser to end a comic while it's still brilliant rather than waiting for it to dwindle into insipidity and bequeathing it to future generations of mediocre cartoonists, in the tradition of, say, Calvin and Hobbes rather than Family Circus.

And yet I'm still quite saddened by this turn of events.

Hey, Ben, now that Terror Island is over, you should make Request Comics daily.

:( in recent weeks i had a feeling the end might come...

Im still really sad because of this though.

Terror Island was one of the first webcomics i started reading and from there i went on to many others... Terror Island is the webcomic i tell my friends about, its cool because its a laugh and it doesn't really make sense.

RIP Terror Island.

Bring Back Terror Island!

This upsets the balance. I'm sure the Unity will intervene.

It's alright Chase, once Ben and Lewis start a successful chain of webcomics you can say you've been reading them "since the Terror Island days" and everyone will automatically respect you.

Guys, I am really needing my Terror Island fix. It's getting pretty bad.

Seriously. I miss it.

This RC installment isn't canonical Terror Island, but it may be close enough.

Rest in peace, TI.

I am looking forward to your next collaborative work, although I doubt that it will be able to top Terror Island.

Thanks! We'll try our best to top it, though that means it may still be a while before the next project starts. Best not to rush into such an important undertaking.

I wouldn't expect the next Ben/Lewis collaboration to appear soon, but I'm not quite retired from webcomics myself.

In fact, I just put up a cast page at Request Comics, so this is a great time to start reading it.

Request Comics are all well and good, but their not Terror Island :(... although you have reminded me of their existence, I haven't read them since about comic number 10. I'll go read now.

I agree with the above comment. And also, am I missing something or have there been no comics since the donation drive? Did he retire and go on to more profitable work in retail?

It didn't show up on the LJ feed until after I'd posted that, and I'm pretty sure I looked before I posted it and didn't see anything recent. Clearly my complaint caused it to spontaneously generate.

Any news on upcoming collaborative Ben/Lewis projects?

I have seriously never agreed with a spambot more.

For the record, the spambot in question copied one of BatmanAoD's posts with some automated translation back and forth used to obscure it.

Spambots are getting more and more clever.
