I'm pretty sure a moonitaur is just a creature that's half bull and half moon.

Any other opinions on the subject?

It might be a man-bull monster that was born because the gods were offended by the moon, instead of by Minos.

Piffle. If logic had any place in the naming of chimeras, then a centaur would be made up of a hundred bulls and a merchant would be half fish and half Gregorian monk. And mythology would be even more interesting.

I would totally do that but I don't know enough about gregorian monks. I'd probably end up giving them all force fields.

I'm pretty sure Gregorian monks had force fields.
