I _also_ like Odin. Just not in this strip.

He would be perfect for my sitcom "That's My Odin", though.

Odin is (at times) omniscient. Thus, he's observing your strip, and by observing it, he is choosing to take no action in it, which is itself an action, thus he is part of your strip. You simply can't get around the bastard.

You can purchase it at your local gaming store. If they don't have it, tell them I said they would.

Can you play as Heckell and Jeckell, or whatever they're called?

I think you have to play as Hugin and Munin. I guess you could make up Heckell and Jeckell house rules, but don't expect me to join in.

Wow, until chenjesu bumped it, I had no idea this thread existed. This is awesome. Thanks for finding this!

"That beats FOMS, but it would lose to a webcomic about scissors" is about the best thing I've heard all week (granted it's only Monday, but still).

Oh, yeah, me and some friends came up with Riskopoly, too. How did you guys play it, Lewis and Ben?

We used a monopoly board, and rolled the monopoly turn first. After we went around the board once, we could buy property. Each newly acquired property gets two infantry on it. After you acquire troops, you get to take a turn in Risk right after your turn in monopoly, if you can attack a neighboring property. You can buy troops for $100 before your Risk turn starts. No troop bonuses for conquering a monopoly. If you attack a property and win, you acquire that property. "Neighboring property" is the next property in either direction, skipping over non-property squares like income tax. If you lose all territories, you can still keep your money for as long as you can. Every time you pass go you get two infantry as well as $200.

It was good to see how that comic was developed.

You know, Lewis, our lives are reasonably parallel. I think the only notable difference is that I took art classes in high school.

EDIT: Oh, and you're older.

You're saying this based on the facts that he passed up the opportunity to adopt a kitten, lives in California, majors in Philosophy, invented a version of Riskopoly, hates kiwis, and co-writes an awesome webcomic?

Well, okay, maybe I'm a combination of Ben and Lewis. I'm just saying we have a similar sense of humor and we both invented a Riskopoly and we're both interested in comics. I never had a chance to adopt a kitten, and I love kiwis but haven't gotten the chance to eat one in years. I don't major in Philosophy, but I want to. I major in Engineering. I live in California, too.

I'm also basing it off of how we both talk on chats.

I think Lewis should make a survey that asks: which TI creator are you most similar to? with only one question, and that being "do you reside in California?"

Wait, I forgot where Ben lives. Not CA, I guess?

Also, I still find the rock-paper-scissors-webcomic joke hilarious.

My favorite of the new strips is either the kumquat one or the mercenary one. Or both.
