Ben makes a list of interesting facts which aren't necessarily true. One by one, Lewis has to guess whether each fact is true or false, without using Wikipedia. Optionally, you can then reverse roles and repeat.

I got 5 out of 12, tied with Lewis.

These are my answers. The ones with asterisks are incorrect.

Code:
TRUE
TRUE*
TRUE
TRUE*
TRUE
FALSE
TRUE*
FALSE*
FALSE*
TRUE*
FALSE
TRUE*

I managed to get all of the Tycho Brahe questions right because of the foreknowledge I had that Tycho Brahe had a crazy life. That was a huge bonus to my score.
I had no idea that reproduction akin to Xerox machines was around before 1959, so I got the fax machine question wrong.

Awesome! This felt like an episode of QI. If you haven't heard of it (and from episode #27, I deduce that there is a 100% chance that you haven't, because it is a British comedy panel show), then I recommend watching an episode. It's basically a bunch of interesting impossible trivia questions like Ben's.

My score was 6 out of 12. I got every single Tycho Brahe question wrong. However, I did know ahead of time that female kangaroos have three vaginas. It's strange, because you'd expect the number to be a power of two.

Interestingly Lewis shows no clear tendency toward being either too gullible or too skeptical, earning 40% correct on True facts and 43% on False facts.

This was an excellent episode. I also enjoyed the Magic: the Gathering reference in the title.

I got 8/12, but I blame Lewis for making me get the fax machine one wrong. In fact, if Lewis' audio was muted, I'd probably have got 12/12. (I am immune to the Tychus Brode facts, because I watched Cosmos about 5 years ago.)

... You realise what would happen if all this made it into an encyclopaedia, right?

Incorrect answers marked with an asterisk

How are you blaming me for four of your wrong answers?

Maybe he was going to choose true for one, but then you said something like "this sounds so ridiculous" and made him change his mind.

My track record after the fourth question was not good enough to merit taking me seriously.

I expected a philosophy professor to not include a false premise in their reasoning.
