So I was reading something on the web about Frege puzzles and I decided to learn more about philosophie. How should I go about doing that? Are there any interesting things about time in philosophie?

Determining others is left as an exercise to the reader.

You could at least tell us their first names, and why they think things never change.

Well, Parminides is Greek, so he has only one name. Not sure about McTaggart though.

McTaggart was Scottish. He solved murders.

oh sod I actually know stuff about Parmenides now!

Basically he was a superskeptic - he was all "it's impossible for there to be more than one type of stuff cos there was one one type of stuff to start with and if that turned into two bits of stuff that would be creating something out of nothing". Zeno was one of his followers. I don't quite understand what his point is supposed to be but he was a "your science is useless now!" kinda dude.
