On Thursday, Claire sent me an instant message pointing out that it was Passover. I wasn't by my computer at the time, so I didn't read this until about 20 minutes later. I then wished her a happy Passover, but unbeknownst to me, the sun had set by then, making my assumption that it was Passover incorrect. Have any of you experienced or perpetrated similar Passover pranks?

Jewish holidays tend to begin and end at sunset.

The entire Jewish calendar works that way.

Could you tell a red thread from a black thread at the time?

You know, chen, sometimes you don't have to revive year-old threads.

I don't revive every year-old thread I come across. That would be wrong.

Edit: Was that a pun? I can't see it but I can see how it could have been.
