Well, I've been slacking. I think what's happening is that I feel I have too little to add to discussions, but that sentiment is also propagated by my belief that there are too few discussions of worthwhile content.

Well, as the first post points out, you seem to be doing a fair amount of the talking, so you should probably tell us.

(Although really I shouldn't be the one to say that, obviously...)

Personally, I enjoy the occasional philosophical discussions sparked by Lewis's comments.

The rarity of my posts is probably mainly because I don't want to log on to phpbb because that makes read/unread information disappear if I am then idle for too long before I have looked at all the posts I want to.

I tend to over-think posts (though not in a necessarily constructive way), so I take a long time to form the text and frequently decide not to submit the post after I do.

My postcount was considerably reduced when I spent about a year forgetting this existed. Also, hi.

Perhaps it didn't really exist for that time, and all the posts claiming to be from then are faked. :o
Hello.

Like how Sammy Davis, Jr.* planted the fossil record, just for funsies?

*I couldn't remember who was responsible for this particular deceit -- the blacks, the jews, or God himself -- so I compromised.

You know, I just realized that you have impressively low post-counts for that people remembered you while you were gone.

Quality over quantity, sir. Quality over quantity.

ALSO IT HELPS IF YOU OCCASIONALLY COMPOSE A PARAGRAPH IN BOLDED CAPS. NOT ONLY DOES IT ADD AN AIR OF AUTHORITY TO YOUR POSTS, BUT IT ALSO CREATES A PLEASING AESTHETIC EFFECT FOR ALL. EYE-CATCHING, NO?

Also also, this community is delightful but not terribly large (or at least it wasn't last year; have we hit the million member mark yet?), so one'd almost have to actively work at it to get lost in the crowd.

Also also also, I see no evidence that anyone other than you remembers us. Perhaps your memory is unusually good. Or perhaps you have been stalking us.

I challenge you to a Remembering Contest. The first person to remember the taste of strawberries is the winner.

That's the sensation that's kind of like cold purple styrofoam, but more strawberry-tasting, right?

Darn, Ben, you are much too quick for me.

Also, Toast, no, we are not even close to the million-member mark. We haven't even reached, er, 10,000 posts. Thanks to spambots, we have about half as many members as posts.

I remember when a spambot would post on this forum about once a day, and when we all wondered what "Texas braces" were.

Why are Texas Braces superior to, say... Oregon Braces?

Because Oregon doesn't get hurricanes.

No, seriously, that's the real-life answer. You'll have to find the original "Texas Braces for Erin" thread if you're confused.

I'm always confused. One thread cannot solve a lifetime of walking into walls, and the like.

Air Jordan shoes? Seriously? Bot, this is 2008, approaching 2009. What decade are you from?
