The current TimeFan logo was created in under ten minutes. Any ideas for what you'd like to see in a new logo?

More time-related imagery. A clock with wings?

Putting a clock in the logo seems too obvious.

I didn't know "logo" meant "must be surprising"

No, but "good logo" means "not clichéd."

Make it some sort of ancient clock nobody uses anymore.

Or some kind of bizarre timepiece, like the Tragic Unscrewing Robot Clock

Or a Feynman diagram.

What about a circle with a line going through it, showing the two most common ways of viewing time - as circular or as linear? Like an "Ø".

Make a clepsydra spell out TimeFan!

(By the way, I hardly ever venture out of the terror island subfora. Probably why the last post was in November of last year.)

Kidnap a graphic designer.

Make him design a TimeFan logo.

Kidnap the kidnapper of the graphic designer as well as kidnapping the kidnapped graphic designer, then ask the kidnapper and kidnappee to get the kidnapped graphic designer to design a TimeFan logo. And then let the kidnapper who kidnapped the kidnapped graphic designer go as well as the kidnapped graphic designer.

Make chenjesu design a TimeFan Coat of Arms with his fountain pen.

If it's not cool enough then don't use it.

Alternatively--make a logo in the shape of a river delta, except instead of water, have different symbols for time. Just a thought.

Taking all of the above into account, the current logo is perfect.

I'm gonna design a coat of arms for the logo.

Actually, I don't have my pen with me. But when I go home for the weekend, I will totally make a kickin logo.

I'm actually kind of excited to see this new logo. To be honest the old one is pretty boring, and vaguely ugly.

This new one definitely won't be boring.

Your silence on the subject of potential ugliness concerns me.

Well, I don't really know that much about what a coat of arms should look like. All of the ones I've looked at seem to involve knights. So I might do knights, except they'd be knights of time, you know? Except, you wouldn't know that by looking at them.

Jousting is also an option, but it might be too hard to draw jousting in action. I've never tried before.

That's it, I'm drawing a sketch with my regular pen or mechanical pencil.

In a surprise twist, I actually did my sketch in a regular pencil.
Also, does anyone know any good symbols of time?
And does anyone know when Timefan was founded?

By the way, the "cast of TI" section is supposed to look vaguely like this, but without the "Terror Island" part in writing (and it's just the statues of them on the rock):

Awesome! I particularly like the annotations.

Well, I don't think the annotations will be in the final, blessed fountain pen version. The temperature of the jousting action (hot) is something that the viewers will have to infer for themselves. This was just a sketch I drew up in engineering class. As a fun game, you might infer the excitement level of said class. (boring)

Oh no, I didn't mean that the final version should be annotated. I just like the annotations in this draft.
