Well, just the ones already mentioned in this thread. You could also illustrate some of the more common analogies for time, such as rivers, or common time paradoxes, such as the twins paradox (somehow draw two identical young men becoming a young man and an old man?).

Or the grandfather paradox--have a man shooting someone who looks very much like him.

Or the billiard ball paradox, although that one might be harder to illustrate in pen and ink in a small space.

Maybe I should just make up some symbols for time. That would be efficient, wouldn't it?

And then you could use those symbols in future projects, as an injoke!

I've finally made up a symbol. It's actually four symbols that work together as a whole, and some of the symbols have alternate meanings. It's pretty simple, so it's subject to a lot of interpretation.

That sounds quite interesting, but it kind of reminds me of the hype I heard about Batman, the Caped Crusader Returns (people claiming that it was very psychological and metaphorical and had really deep characters and all that), which turned out to be disappointingly goofy.
In other words, as long as your symbols don't include rocket-penguins, we should be okay.

Ha ha! No, it's not like that. It doesn't really involve anything recognizable until I explain it, so it's probably going to be more of an inside joke than a rocket penguin.

I accidentially read this before the previos post, so it felt very meta.

You're not suggesting that I talk to myself, do you? Because I can assure you that I do. It helps to have auditory cues when thinking.

Wow, that's pretty funny out of context.

However, since the context is actually a Batman, the Caped Crusader movie, that doesn't make it much easier to understand.

Well, I'm going home this weekend. There I should be able to work, from my sketch, with my blessed fountain pen.

Bad news. My fountain pen, the blessed one, broke in my backpack on the way to college.

I don't know if I can finish the logo. I have micron technical pens, but it just wouldn't be the same.

The only hope is that the fountain pen might be repairable. Since most of the nib broke off, I might be able to reattach it, with a brace.

I know this is shocking news to us all.

Why not buy a new fountain pen?

Modern fountain pens aren't build with durable materials. Plus, I don't know a good art store in Berkeley. I will search for one.. right now!

EDIT: I just found one that's close to my dorm. I don't know if they sell blessed pens, but I'm sure a regular pen will do.

Good luck. I don't know if you can ever truly replace a really good pen, but you can always try.

Okay, I bought a new one. It looks pretty good.

I might be able to keep the old nib, or the old pen.

I'm pretty excited for this.

EDIT: unless, of course, it's an April Fools joke.

Actually, it was an April Fool's joke, but the joke was going to be that I was actually going to do it after you all figured out it was an April Fool's joke.

I didn't realize the logo was utilized anywhere on the site until I tried to log on from a different computer than the one I usually used. It was awesome to see the logo again, but why doesn't it replace the phpBB logo all the time?

Wouldn't simply refreshing the site, then, change it for me?

Edit: I was using the prosilver format. The logo only appears in subsilver.
