Has anyone else here played Penny Arcade Adventures: On the Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness, Episode One?

Also have you read the comic Penny Arcade? This thread is primarily about the comic.

As a matter of fact, I have read Penny Arcade. Allow me now to change the subject slightly and ask a question about that game that you mentioned. You know. The one that is not the primary topic of discussion, but is, in fact, tangential.

Is there a way to play it for free?

Because I will at least consider playing it, if that is the case.

There's a way to play the free demo for free.

But let's get back on track. One of my favorite things about Penny Arcade is the characters.

Even if you don't own an Xbox 360?

Yeah, even without an Xbox 360 you can still enjoy the characters.

In fact, you can read it from most internet browsers.

shouldn't this post be in PC&RB?

Penny Arcade Adventures: On the Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness, Episode One is related to Terror Island because Terror Island and Penny Arcade are both webcomics.

But none of this matters, because we are talking about Penny Arcade, and we are talking about it in the webcomics forum.

I am using my authority as moderator to move this thread to its proper location. Any complaints can be addressed to the site administrator.

Thread moved to "Miscellaneous Webcomics." Keep this stuff out of the Pleasure Cruise, please. -Admin

This thread is really about the webcomic Penny Arcade. This is not like moving discussion of the film "She's All That" from a subforum about movies to a subforum about shakespeare's plays.

Take it up with the MW mod team.

This thread is now officially pretty hilarious.

Seriously, though, I am too lazy to figure out where to download this demo. Can someone just provide a link or something?

(Sorry to derail the conversation there. Feel free to keep discussing Penny Arcade, which is what we've been doing.)

http://www.playgreenhouse.com/game/HOTHG-000001-01/

the green links that say "download" are to download the demo.

You can play but not save. If you want to save, it will let you buy the full version and save the progress you already made, so you won't have to replay the beginning stage just because you started with the demo.

I'd say that this game complements the comic, Penny Arcade, well. It reminds me of Penny Arcade, the topic of this thread.

Thanks--actually I found it just before you sent that. I don't know why I was whining about being lazy and all that, it was really pretty pathetically easy to find. Thanks anyway though. I'll let you know what I think of it.

Other admin: Stop dumping all your trash in here. It took me all of fifteen minutes to get this thread to a point where it fit this subforum. -Admin

All of these posts are off-topic, now, except the ones that are obviously explicitly about Penny Arcade (most of them). This is the best solution, Md. Unwinder.

I was out when all of this jumping around of threads happened, but I think I've gotten to the point where I understand what's going on.

Much like I'm at the point where I understand what's going on in Penny Arcade despite having not been reading it since it started.

(ambiguity in last statement deliberate)

Actually, I think it would be kind of impossible to understand what happened to this thread without having seen it before whatever happened happened.

What's happened is that we've been talking about Penny Arcade, and now the thread is where such discussion belongs.

Oh, this is hopeless.

(There was an off-topic spam here.)
