So, I think my favorite comics are the ones where Ben eats something disgusting and I get to see his reaction to it. It's fun because I never know what his reaction will be.

Also, I think this was loosely inspired by a sandiwch i had in real life. It had, I think, Kale, Pepperoncinis, Bacon and Mayonnaise. It was really good although the kale was a little tough. I don't know how you eat kale.

I actually considered kale for this, but decided to go with something less distasteful.

Kale update: Since writing the above comment: I've gotten into making kale chips. They're pretty good!

They're pretty decent.

hmm, that sounds pretty good. I don't have any kale right now, but I think I'll eat a yam.

I'm not sure why, but this sentence strikes a very pleasant chord with me. The phrase is very satisfying for no particular reason.

So, I've been making a lot of kale+fruit smoothies lately, and they can be pretty good. The trick is, you have to add something very fragrant to cover up the awful kale taste.

Examples of good fragrant spices include:
Sweet Basil (my favorite)
Pumpkin Spice
French Tarragon
Ginger (a lot of online kale shake recipes use ginger. I only checked two, but both used ginger and I extrapolated from there)
Thyme is okay, but not strong enough
Black Pepper (risky)

Things I tried but do not like:
Mint. (I may have added too much, but when I tried it, my shake tasted overwhelmingly minty. Also, I use a fruit mix of peaches, pineapple, strawberries, and grapes which does not go well with mint imo. If you have ever eaten a strawberry after brushing your teeth, you know what I mean.)

Things that would probably work but I have not tried:
Anise
Fennel
